Low Cost, Powerful Desk Top Publishing (DTP)
& Website Maintenance you Can Do Yourself
Where possible, we choose low cost, powerful, and easy to learn software to not only build our clients’ websites, but also use the same software to design our client’s brochures and leaflets.
This means the text, graphics and pages created for the website are very easily reused to create brochures and other printed material and only one new software product needs to be learned.
Once the website(s) and brochure(s) are completed for a client, we often train their staff to maintain them in-house resulting in on going cost savings and greater flexibility in company communications.
In recent years the cost of powerful desk top publishing software and fast colour laser printers have dropped so dramatically that brochures and leaflets can now be printed in small quantities completely in-house, even for very small companies.
Once this capability is in-house there is far greater capability to target a company’s marketing communications to specific applications, customer groups or individual customers.
Furthermore, the recent drop in both conventional printing prices and the technological developments within digital printing means that small business’s literature can economically look as good as that produced by larger organizations. By good use of in house desktop publishing systems, a small business can control and project a consistent image with documents printed out in house and those produced for them by outside print organisations.
